This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the collection, processing and use of personal data obtained by the Administrator through the Website.

§ Definitions

§ Data collection

The Administrator obtains personal data directly from Users when:

  • browse the Website;
  • interact with the Administrator via social media channels,
  • contact the Administrator via e-mail, telephone, the contact form on the Website or other currently available communication channels.

§ Purposes of processing

Personal data is processed by the Administrator for the following purposes:

  • providing Users with access to content available on the Website,
  • to ensure the security of the connection and optimise the operation of the Website.

§ Data sharing

The Administrator may disclose the personal data of Website Users to external entities when it is necessary for the functioning of the Website, e.g. to suppliers responsible for the maintenance of IT systems and equipment, or to entities providing accounting services. The Administrator may disclose selected information about Users to competent authorities or third parties who request such information, based on an appropriate legal basis and in accordance with applicable law (e.g. the Police).

User data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area by default, nor is it transferred to international organisations. In the event of data transfer to recipients in third countries, the Administrator will use standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, which establish basic guarantees for the security of User data.

§ Data processing and storage

The administrator processes personal data in accordance with:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: GDPR);
  • the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000);
  • The privacy policy and internal data protection procedures in force at the Administrator. The Administrator does not take actions that are based solely on automated processing, including profiling, and have legal effects on data subjects. The Administrator will retain the User's personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

§ Rights of Users

Each User has several rights in relation to their personal data

  • the right to obtain information about personal data processed by the Controller, including a copy of such data;
  • the right to request rectification of personal data;
  • the right to erasure of data, in cases specified by law;
  • the right to restrict the processing of personal data or to object to its use, in cases specified by law;
  • the right to transfer personal data within the scope of data portability;
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

In matters not covered by this Privacy Policy, the relevant provisions of law shall apply accordingly.
